Refund Policy

Effective date: May 3, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to VibeBoy Pro subscriptions purchased on vibeboy.vercel.app. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your VibeBoy Pro subscription at any time from your account page, which takes you to the Shopify-hosted subscription portal.

  • Cancellation stops future renewals. Your card will not be charged again.
  • Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period. You don’t lose what you’ve already paid for.
  • No prorated refund is given for the unused portion of the current period.

2. Monthly Subscriptions ($4.99 / month)

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of that month’s billing period and will not be charged again.

We do not issue refunds for partial months or for months that renewed before you remembered to cancel. If you forgot to cancel and you contact us within a few days of the renewal, contact us anyway — we look at these case by case and often do the right thing as a one-time courtesy.

3. Annual Subscriptions ($49.99 / year)

Annual subscriptions deliver digital content immediately on purchase. Because the product is digital and access is granted instantly, annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activated.

14-day satisfaction window for first-time annual subscribers. If you are subscribing to VibeBoy Pro for the first time and the product isn’t what you expected, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase, provided the account has not made substantial use of Pro features (rough guideline: a small number of AI chat sessions and game saves is fine; many hours of usage is not). To request, see Section 6.

This 14-day window applies once per customer per lifetime, to the first annual subscription only. Renewals are not eligible for this window. We strongly recommend trying the free tier or a single month of Pro before committing to an annual plan.

4. Refunds in Specific Situations

Outside the windows above, we will issue a refund (full or partial, at our reasonable discretion) in the following situations:

  • Technical failure we cannot resolve. If a bug or service outage prevents you from using a Pro feature you paid for, and our team cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund the affected period.
  • Duplicate or accidental purchases. If you contact us within 7 days of a duplicate or accidental charge, we will refund it.
  • Unauthorized purchase by a minor. If a child purchased Pro without parental authorization, contact us from the email associated with the account or the parent’s email and we will work with you in good faith. Note: Shopify and your card issuer may also be helpful contacts in these cases.
  • Where required by local law. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence (for example, certain EU/UK statutory cancellation rights for digital services).

5. What Is Not Refundable

  • Subscription periods that have already passed and during which you had access to Pro features;
  • Annual subscriptions outside the 14-day first-time window, except for the specific situations in Section 4;
  • Renewals of an annual subscription (the satisfaction window is for first-time purchasers only);
  • One-time digital purchases (such as expansion content) once access has been granted, except where required by local law.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at contact@circuitmess.com from the email address associated with the VibeBoy account, or from the parent/guardian email if the account is for a minor.
  2. Include the order number (you can find it in your Shopify order confirmation email) and a brief reason for the request.
  3. We aim to respond within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
